Natural Black Opal Sphere 166g 52mm

This beautiful black opal is sometimes referred to as “coffee opal” to distinguish it from precious black opal that features play-of-color. While not rare, it is uncommon. With its swirls of dark browns and taupe, against a cream background, this opal reminds us of a hot fudge sundae!

This sphere is cut and polished from top grade material, mined in Madagascar and measures approximately 2 inches in diameter.
