Welcome to Gemaura.com! My name is Nicole, and I’m so glad you’re here! I founded this company with the dream of sharing my passion for gemstones, crystals, and jewelry.
Since I was a little girl, I have loved everything that sparkles. After spending several years sitting at a desk in the corporate world, I decided that I wanted to change careers and work in the jewelry industry. I enrolled as a student with the Gemological Institute of America and received my certification as a graduate gemologist.
Shortly after graduating, I got my first job working in sales for a high-end jewelry store. Two years later, I was working full-time as a host for a major shopping network, selling gemstones and jewelry on national television. I went on to work for additional networks before leaving the spotlight 11 years later, to take a sales position with a well-known gemstone wholesaler. Now, I work for me! 😊
Working in the jewelry industry and learning about crystals has been an incredible adventure. I’ve had the opportunity to meet so many wonderful people and visit exciting places. The highlight has been my annual trips to Tucson, Arizona to attend the largest gem, mineral and fossil showcase in the world. That’s where my love affair with crystals first began. I had been an avid collector of loose gemstones for years but started building my crystal collection after I enrolled in classes to learn about crystal healing. I enjoyed the process so much that I decided to start a crystal business and founded Gemaura, LLC. My passion is collecting and sharing information on crystals and gemstones, and now I can share that passion with you!
The crystals and jewelry that are offered in our store are personally selected by me, and I work very hard to find the best quality that I can buy. If I see a crystal or piece of jewelry that I wouldn’t add to my personal collection, I won’t buy it for my business.
Gemaura LLC also offers an exclusive line of clothing, drinkware and accessories, designed for fans of gems, fossils and crystals. The line is called Gem Geek®.
