Blue Calcite:  Relax and Find Peace

Calcite is mined in many different places worldwide. The colors most used for metaphysical purposes are clear, orange, pink, green, honey, red and blue. Each color can reenergize the body when placed upon the appropriate chakra. Calcite is a very spiritual crystal which can raise one’s level of consciousness, promote psychic awareness, and increase spiritual growth. It can also be used to transmute energy that is negative or stagnant into positive energy.

Blue Calcite Emits Peaceful, Calming Energy

Blue calcite is one of most soothing crystals for the physical body. Placing a large piece of blue calcite in a room can create a calming, spa-like atmosphere. It’s gentle, relaxing energy soothes the nerves and reduces anxiety. Having a piece of blue calcite near your bed, or in your pillowcase, can help to improve sleep and enhance dream recall.

Blue Calcite is Thoughtful and Affordable Gift

Blue calcite corresponds to the throat chakra, so it is a great crystal to give to someone who has difficulty communicating, especially in a situation where there is conflict. It can be a supportive ally to students, by inspiring creativity, improving focus and increasing motivation.

Because of its gentle, soothing energy, blue calcite can help with recuperation from surgery or illness. It is believed to help lower blood pressure, and ease pain. The calming nature of blue calcite can promote relaxation in empaths and those who are sensitive to energy.
